So This Is Me...

I looked, last one was October of 07 so almost a whole year. It doesn't seem like that, but at the same time it seems like longer - I don't even remember making it.

Oh well, life moves on - obviously.

And now here I am a college graduate - it feels so weird on so many levels. Like I am done and I have a degree which is something that only like 25% of the population can say and then its from a really great university, which is awesome, but then its like ok what am I doing with that. Well, basically nothing. I mean I am a legal assistant in the IP department. That means that I help the attorneys on ensuring that the proper paperwork is filed for the patent process. That is basically my job. Like I said not much going on there challenging wise and pretty boring - especially lately. It seems very hit or miss and that is annoying - its like I like to be busy, then the day flies by and I feel like I am actually doing something - instead of sitting here and getting paid to do things that I want to do

I guess it could be worse.

Although it really re-affirms for me the fact that I can't stay in this job forever. I'm hoping 3 years so that I can get all of my debt paid off and have saved some money before going back to school - I'm thinking a Masters in International Relations/Diplomacy. Then I want to work interntionally in the field. I am even thinking about maybe doing my schooling internationally because then I will become more accustomed to other cultures and have more contacts. Plus it should help with my language skills. And international masters programs are only normally 1 year whereas American ones are 2. So that would also help financially.

My other life plan would entail opening a cupcake store (I'm toying with it also having a wine bar type thing). But that is obviously something that I would need to be a lot more financially sound and I would probably want some sort of business degree to help out with.

Otherwise, I am really just enjoying not having to worry about a lot of other things like I did while I was in school - I mean no homework, etc. and then all of the other stress that comes along with school. So I am actually content to not be in school for a little bit and to actually be able to do things that I want to do. I don't think that I have really been able to do that for years (if ever).

I am reading books, watching the shows that I want to, and even started going to the gym this week. I am hoping that by having more time that this will be something that I can stick to and really become good at. I am also getting to see people that I want to see, which is always nice. Hopefully I will get to see a few more.

That is about all that is going on in my life now.

But my goal is to stay more updated with posts now, especially now that I have more time so stay tuned for more :)

OMG, I am so freakin excited. I am leaving for Orlando in less than 2 hours. I have not been there in so long. I miss Disney and I might even have the chance to go on grounds. I will at least be able to make it to Downtown Disney so I can do some shopping. Mom was so excited thinking about all of the things that I could buy for her. But I am also really kinda scared because I have never done a road trip before and I don't know what to expect or any of that. Normally I just fall asleep- mom and dad love when I do that, especially on the way back to Madison :)

Hey everyone,
Disregard the fact that it has been a while since I journaled because this does not really even count. Anyways, Katie has her play on Thursday and Friday April 6th and 7th- and its free so no problem with that, but can we decide in the next like 2 days which day we are going because I have been asked to work on Thursday, which I have no problem doing, as long as we can go to the play on Friday. So I know that this is kind of a stupid thing to be bothered by, but today I talked to Sarah and then I finally heard back from Kassy on facebook, and both of them both had to ask about my boy situation and all and they both had to ask if I've gotten any... now like this isn't really a bad thing I guess but its just upsetting that that is something I have to discuss, like seriously am I less of a person because I am not getting any? And are they gonna like stop talking ot me, I mean its not like we all really talk anyways, but what?? Whatever, I was so excited I just had to say something, I might even celebrate tonite :) Did I mention that that was in the class I was pretty much failing and about a mouse-click away from dropping at one point?!
