So This Is Me...

Well it has been way too long

I looked, last one was October of 07 so almost a whole year. It doesn't seem like that, but at the same time it seems like longer - I don't even remember making it.

Oh well, life moves on - obviously.

And now here I am a college graduate - it feels so weird on so many levels. Like I am done and I have a degree which is something that only like 25% of the population can say and then its from a really great university, which is awesome, but then its like ok what am I doing with that. Well, basically nothing. I mean I am a legal assistant in the IP department. That means that I help the attorneys on ensuring that the proper paperwork is filed for the patent process. That is basically my job. Like I said not much going on there challenging wise and pretty boring - especially lately. It seems very hit or miss and that is annoying - its like I like to be busy, then the day flies by and I feel like I am actually doing something - instead of sitting here and getting paid to do things that I want to do

I guess it could be worse.

Although it really re-affirms for me the fact that I can't stay in this job forever. I'm hoping 3 years so that I can get all of my debt paid off and have saved some money before going back to school - I'm thinking a Masters in International Relations/Diplomacy. Then I want to work interntionally in the field. I am even thinking about maybe doing my schooling internationally because then I will become more accustomed to other cultures and have more contacts. Plus it should help with my language skills. And international masters programs are only normally 1 year whereas American ones are 2. So that would also help financially.

My other life plan would entail opening a cupcake store (I'm toying with it also having a wine bar type thing). But that is obviously something that I would need to be a lot more financially sound and I would probably want some sort of business degree to help out with.

Otherwise, I am really just enjoying not having to worry about a lot of other things like I did while I was in school - I mean no homework, etc. and then all of the other stress that comes along with school. So I am actually content to not be in school for a little bit and to actually be able to do things that I want to do. I don't think that I have really been able to do that for years (if ever).

I am reading books, watching the shows that I want to, and even started going to the gym this week. I am hoping that by having more time that this will be something that I can stick to and really become good at. I am also getting to see people that I want to see, which is always nice. Hopefully I will get to see a few more.

That is about all that is going on in my life now.

But my goal is to stay more updated with posts now, especially now that I have more time so stay tuned for more :)

Yeah! I am so excited... I am done with school for a while!! I am so excited that I am done, I just finished my last exam and then I realized that I won't be having any real exams for a while. And while I am super excited for me to be done with school, that does not mean that I get to leave yet *tear* something good better come out of my staying for all this time.

OMG, I am so freakin excited. I am leaving for Orlando in less than 2 hours. I have not been there in so long. I miss Disney and I might even have the chance to go on grounds. I will at least be able to make it to Downtown Disney so I can do some shopping. Mom was so excited thinking about all of the things that I could buy for her. But I am also really kinda scared because I have never done a road trip before and I don't know what to expect or any of that. Normally I just fall asleep- mom and dad love when I do that, especially on the way back to Madison :)
But yea, I am taking my phone so you can call me.
And Veronica, I am sorry that I will be missing your birthday, but I hope that it is tons of fun!! We will do a dinner thing when I get back!
Katie, no sex in my bed or the futon while I am gone- use your bed as you see fit, but just remember that you will be cheating on me!

Hey everyone,
Disregard the fact that it has been a while since I journaled because this does not really even count. Anyways, Katie has her play on Thursday and Friday April 6th and 7th- and its free so no problem with that, but can we decide in the next like 2 days which day we are going because I have been asked to work on Thursday, which I have no problem doing, as long as we can go to the play on Friday. 1) I am totally OCD, like I have to eat things in pairs- so long as I can- like I have to cut my chicken and eat even numbers of bites or I have to eat m&ms in pairs or pretty much anything has to be evenly paired

2)I run away from all my problems but have absolutely no direction- and this goes on so many levels

3) I once wrote a letter to *N Sync, and it was awesome b/c I love them and they totally rock- did I mention I have the cd they just released like a few weeks ago?!

OMG, FRESHMEN SUCK
I'm sorry but since when is it ok to have a frickin party in your dorm room for like 2 hours?! Plus, isn't it suppose to be that they do a lil prep-party like a shot or two and then head out to get really trashed so that they can have some random hook-ups?! I mean yes they did leave, but I wasnt sure that they were going to for a while, jeez. And how can the Housefellow come back and be right next door to tell and not be bothered by it? She must live in a fucking sound-proof room because they were so loud, I couldn't concentrate on my awesome Poli Sci reading. Then when I am attempting to do my laundry, after 10 they are gathering in the hallway, omg does this look ok and what about this should we walk or get a taxi? Shut the fuck up, no one cares!!!

So I know that this is kind of a stupid thing to be bothered by, but today I talked to Sarah and then I finally heard back from Kassy on facebook, and both of them both had to ask about my boy situation and all and they both had to ask if I've gotten any... now like this isn't really a bad thing I guess but its just upsetting that that is something I have to discuss, like seriously am I less of a person because I am not getting any? And are they gonna like stop talking ot me, I mean its not like we all really talk anyways, but what?? Well, idk, but whateve I'm just a lil annoyed by that and I don't really know what to say about it except that people upset me sometimes, like seriously does it change who I am as a person, no, they have all known me for some time and they have both tried many times to try and fix me up with people but it never worked so I don't know what to say, just that I'm a little hurt I guess

OMG, so I just got back from class, and I'm freezing and all, I'll need to start remembering a jacket, but that was not my point, my point was that I am so excited because we got our second papers back and I got a 97%, which was better than everyone around me and prolly one of my best grades in a language since high school. Whatever, I was so excited I just had to say something, I might even celebrate tonite :) Did I mention that that was in the class I was pretty much failing and about a mouse-click away from dropping at one point?!

So I have become very distracted by a thought that occured to me and I have not been able to concentrate since. So it has been going on for a long time and all, but why is it that people just assume that I'm like some sort of whore who is really experienced and has all these guys that are in love with me and want to get into my pants and even want to be my friends and blah blah. Ok seriously, I have never had a boyfriend or first kiss for that matter! The first person that I have ever known that has liked me is Andy, and no offense hun if you are reading this, but it was after he liked me and it never would have worked because we are just too different of people and plus he is like a brother to me. So maybe I should explain where this is coming from. Today while Ryan and Mike and I were studying for Poli Sci, we somehow started talking about girls saying to guys that they are like a brother and that they trust them like a girlfriend. And they just accused me of being one of those girls and having said that to a ton of guys. They refused to even let me answer. Which just further pissed me off. Like seriously, I have never (before college last year) had any guys that I have really been friends with. Well there was David, but honestly, he ditched me as soon as a better looking girl came along and then blah blah, so him and I really are just brother and sister b/c he thinks that he is better than me and whatever. But honestly, before I was friends with Mark I had never really had a guy friend, and we all know how things with Mark ended. And why is it that there was one day where everyone that I talked to called me some form of a whore, some joking others meant it. And why is it that when I tell people that I have never been kissed, they are literally speechless? Seriously, I am not nice or pretty. I have accepted the fact that I am never going to have a guy interested in me and that I am never going to have a boyfriend and that life pretty much just sucks! If I have accepted this and given up on guys, why can't other people. It is when people give me shit about this fact that I get upset! Seriously, give it up, not everyone gets to have all their dreams come true. Some people actually get to have their worst fears come true! I know that that is my fate and the sooner that other people accept these things about me, the BETTER for everyone!!!! I don't know people just not so much piss me off as hurt me! Maybe I just need to stop talking to people completely!
